An Adhack banner commision for Hop Studios. The best part about this commision was that they had existing graphics created by another artist, which provided me with the challenge of mimicking another artist’s style. (E.g. Deeployer helper banner)

Layout mock ups and sketches.

Only 2 mockups, and both of a similar style?! Yes I know, how very out of character for me. The client made it very easy for me by providing:

The client was happy with the first mockup, but I decided to do a 2nd one for fun. She hasn’t seen it yet. =)

I forgot to post this one – logo styles for Vancitywag. I remembered because I am currently working on their website mock ups.
I deleted one logo, I realized too late that it was the Volkswagen logo!

The client chose #17

I’ve been planning this card for a while, but I have been delaying it because I wasn’t sure I could pull off this style. I grabbed some books from the library and just looked at the amazing paintings from the Art Treasures of Seikado collection. Simply amazing stuff… So here’s another design for Something Green, it’s the first card I painted using Painter.

A wedding card I designed for Something Green. Thank you Sonia for helping me design the concept, you’re awesome!

I went through lots of variations for this card in my attempts to get the right balance. It has a lot of detail and colours, to the point of almost chaos. I ended up simplifying the bride to bring the focus back to the carriage, and adding deeper earth tones to increase depth.
