A sketch (oooh pencil!) a quick practice on the style I want to use for Gnomes Homes.
Its been a number of years since I sorted through all my drawings. While I was sorting I found these cute drawings by Ciena, Russel and Zay. I was teaching them how to draw using the computer. Russel was probably around 8 at the time, Ciena 13 and Zay 9. I also found a drawing by my friend Tom that I was most likely suppose to digitilize and colour – oops sorry Tom I probably forgot.
From left to right:
- A face drawn and coloured by Ciena.
- Another face drawn by Ciena and then coloured by me.
- A mermaid we drew together.
- A neopet drawn by Russel.
- A face drawn and coloured by Zay. He titled it Rocker.
- A pencil drawing by Tom. Most likely a forgotten collaboration.

Buster likes to take showers.
Sunning at Chilliwack lake. It was super hot! I was the only one who wanted to go swimming but I decided against it as I had forgotten my sandals and the rocks were cutting my feet.
This is the weekend after (I don’t feel like making a seperate post). Devin’s parents gave us another wedding present (cash)! We spent it all in finally buying furniture for our living room. I love our Honda FIT, we crammed all these long boxes in the back. It took us about 30 minutes of playing tetris but it worked!
