Every month we pick a subject and each draw our interpretation of the character. The purpose is to help us improve our very rusty drawing skills. Jerah has the first pick – this month’s subject is Jaime Lannister from the Song of Ice and Fire series.

 

This month’s challenge was a little bit rushed as we thought of the idea late and had less than a month. My version is done in an anime-like style, mouse-drawn in Illustrator and coloured in Photoshop. This will most likely be the last mouse drawing I do since I now how my shiny graphic tablet.

Here is Jerah’s version. We are the only 2 who participated this round. (Boo Chris!) Our versions differ quite a bit, not just in style but also the overall feel of the character. We were in different parts of the series and the character had changed a lot during the course of the storyline.
