If you are getting married and trying to choose a gift registry, do not use The Bay Metrotown in Burnaby. Devin and I are just getting called now, 6 months after the wedding, about gift cards and gifts we haven’t picked up. When asked why we weren’t called earlier, their response was “things were backed up.” No sign of apology, except of a tone of umm you customers are dumb, why didn’t you pick these up sooner? As if gift cards can be backed up. To guests whom we haven’t thanked for your gifts, we are very sorry as our thank-you’s will also come late.
